OUTCAST Issue 19 has finally hit the shelves and man it is an eye-opener! Here’s a preview of what you can expect: Answers are given and secrets are revealed, as the start of a new story arc finds Kyle and Sidney having a conversation that will change EVERYTHING. Kyle has never been in more danger.
Previously: Kyle’s actions have been tolerated up to this point, but that time is over. The forces of evil are all around him and they are closing in. Kyle will soon learn that there is no escape.

Sidney & Kyles conversation raised more questions than i think gave answers. My mind is still spinning trying to piece together what i think is going on. It’s strange that this far in there is still so much intrigue and so much more to learn. I feel like I’m in the darkness looking for the light.
Probably the best comics I EVER READ.

So, do the demons(still calling them that because it’s easiest) really possess people? I mean, Sidney calls it his “companion”, that it’s something that strengthens him… And in the show, Mildred says that there’s “room in a human soul for so much more”. If he is possessed, nothing he said about that can be trusted, but maybe it changes based on person? Sidney obviously had problems, he was a killer who wanted to stop killing, so maybe he simply shares a body with this companion of his, rather than it taking complete control, because he’s more… open to it. Whereas someone like Kyle’s mother, who fought, in that case the demon takes complete control.
Every time this series gives us an answer it just opens up more questions.
I’m at a complete shock..mind blown
While I was reading this issue I kept thinking: Wow we’re finally getting a lot of answers. Then I read it again and again and again and now I only have more questions! It’s really cool to see what Syndey was like before his ‘companion’ ‘joined’ him but weird at the same time that it made him a ‘better person’. I don’t trust this guy… Not one bit! Loved his line about their being a little Devil in all of us. Can’t wait for next month! Anderson to the rescue!!
Oh and major, major cudos for Paul and Elizabeth who are killing it month after month with their incredible work! And Kirkman is doing fine as well 😉

Excited to read this. Picked it up today
For me it answered alot of questions not all of them but alot of them so it seems like whatever this “light”/power that kyle has gives the others power & whatever world there from they followed kyle here. My biggest thing was seeing reverend Anderson peeking thru the window on the last page I think he’s going to somehow break in & free kyle. Please tell me if I’m wrong but was that Kyle’s mother in thales barn in the last issue? If so I think when kyle gets freed he will have a face to face confrations with his mother.

I think I have way more questions then answers at this point, but that’s what makes outcast so brilliant! It was great to see the other Sydney. He has some great lines! Looking forward to seeing how the whole story develops.

This was such a good issue! I love how much we learn from Sidney and more about who he is/was. Cant wait to see how this situation is going to play out. I feel like the Rev. is going to come in like a wrecking ball. HA!
