The BRAND NEW Negan statue has been revealed! If you were at McFarlane’s booth at this year’s SDCC you’re already familiar with their newest statue. If you only watch the show and have no idea what we’re talking about, just slowly walk away from your screen.
Although we’re unsure of how it will look painted it’s safe to assume they’ll use a lot of red. Below are some close-up shots of the unpainted prototype of Negan in all of his spine-tingling glory. Enjoy:

This is cool, but I have to be honest & say that seeing Negan fighting off walkers is a little odd to me. My mind’s eye is envisioning a setting or two that McFarlane probably wouldn’t cast in that resin. I also like Rick’s better, but I can’t wait to see the painted version of this!
I had hoped this would go to Valhalla shiny and chrome! But this is mediocre!
Well, mediocre since it’ll likely cost $300+usd just like the Rick statue and no amount of color and blood spatter will be enough for me to shell out THAT much, even though I know Negan is going to toss that head and spinal column up in the air and hit a home run with Lucille.

I haven’t seen a release date for this yet but I can tell you that I recall seeing the unpainted resin of Rick on McFarlane’s site & on eBay. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for ya!
~Oh & “Cat Guy” makes me think of the boys in the movie Forever Young, yelling, “It’s the dead guy!” “The dead guy! Aaaaaaa!!”

This looks awesome. The Rick statue was awesome as well. Sadly, that $350 price point (which I would assume this would be as well) is just too much to justify to my wife (also my CFO). I can dream…
