Obviously we knew Compendium 3 was coming, but now we can tell you WHEN! The third Walking Dead Compendium will be hitting shelves earlier than expected in October 2015, just in time for Season 6 of The Walking Dead show!

Okay that is amazing. The green looks even better than the red and blue of the first two. I’m definitely getting that this year.
Also, is it just me or are the zombies on the bottom getting a little more decayed with each compendium? If so, nice touch.
Also one more thing, I can’t be certain, but I get the impression that Michonne is sheathing her sword in this image. Does that possibly pertain to the current storyline?
Eeeeee i certainly hope so! These whisperers are my fav villains and i know some think its silly to hold onto the idea that michonne is leading those jerks but i want it so badly for some reason hahaha, i think it would be the dopest dope i ever smoked if michonne was the demon gypsy king, and yea for real these compendiums are getting out of hand amazing, the zed rick looks sooooo tight butthole, you guys are right on par for killing it everytime…everytime

I would totally buy a companion book for each of the compendiums (compendia?) that had all of the issue and trade covers.
I go for the hardcovers (#11 next month!) but I do have to say this is a beaut!! I miss this Ol’ Skool Rick. Happy to see Dwight on there instead of Eugene.

Maggies definitely gotta be on compendium 4 though. Carl, Magna, Rick, Maggie, Eugene, and Andrea or Michonne. But #4 won’t be out until around 2018, who knows where these characters will be by then. Hopefully before vol. 24 ends we see dwight (which we probably will) and michonne.

The cover makes me think of all of the different groups in the community with one or two of the characters symbolizing those groups (Michonne: The Kingdom, Jesus: The Hilltop, Rick and Andrea: Alexandria (don’t know if it’s still called that or not), and Negan and Dwight: The Saviors). I also like that they’ve had both Rick and Andrea on the covers for the second compendium as well as this one because I think it demonstrates their ‘we don’t die’ rule and shows how well that’s going for them. Which also brings me to the conclusion that Andrea will not die in issue 144.
Or, possibly, with Negan reappearing in the fourth compendium, he could somehow resemble The Whisperers.
