The Walking Dead cast is coming to New York Comic Con 2018! First reported by TheWrap, the panel will take place at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, October 6th at 8PM. The event, which we believe will be available to fans with New York Comic Con badges (details coming soon), comes a day before The Walking Dead’s Season 9 Premiere.
The last time TWD panel was held the night before a season premiere was 2015, when Norman Reedus rode his motorcycle into The Garden to hype up Season 6. That panel was hosted by Yvette Nicole Brown, who surprised fans with an early look at the premiere episode. It has yet to be announced if fans this year will also get an sneak peek.
This year’s NYCC panel will be moderated by Talking Dead’s Chris Hardwick, who returns to hosting con panels following his reinstatement by AMC this Summer. According to TheWrap, the expected panelists include Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride and Jeffrey Dean Morgan join Executive Producer and Showrunner Angela Kang, Executive Producer and Chief Content Officer Scott M. Gimple, Executive Producers Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and Dave Alpert, and Special Effects Makeup Supervisor and Executive Producer Greg Nicotero.
