Idk but im excited for action again. 🙂
HugeFan!!!
Plot Progression! Hooray!
Soooo does plot progression = Rick’s in the episode?
Wow! Something’s FINALLY happening!!
Dayumn!!
Missing the Python, tho!
Agreed
Be still my heart!
Ok I swear I posted this on the G+ site without seeing this! LMAO! We are on the same wavelength too often.
I thought the same thing.
Hold on. Is there a bullet flying at Rick?!? Or is that coming out of his gun?
Ya, what’s up with that? Maybe rick will get shot and need the help of the grady bunch. Will the crew accept that murderous doctor into their ranks?
That’s the bullet shell being ejected from his gun. Guns don’t fire the entire thing that you see get loaded in the gun, they fire the actual bullet which is at the tip of the shell and then the shell is ejected out the side of the gun.
Ah, just the tip, you say.
Can’t wait. Ranger Rick is going to save the day.
Tyreese!
I love how the red handled machete has seemingly replaced comic Rick’s hatchet as TV Rick’s primary melee weapon.
It’s about time, Rick has gone far too long without always carrying a permanent and dedicated melee weapon. That’s a necessity in this world now; you can’t just walk around with your gun and take care of business. Sometimes stealth is required, conservation of ammunition, not to mention a good melee weapon is essential for close quarters combat.
In the comic, Rick never went anywhere without his trusty hatchet. When the gun belt went on, the hatchet was strapped on along with it. Similar to how Rick now appears to be carrying the machete in a nylon sheath, strapped to his duty belt;which leads me to believe this particular weapon is something permanent for Rick now, an essential part of his gear.
I mean, he’s always carried that Gerber DMF Folder, folding tactical knife since season 2. But that’s more of a utility tool, and a last resort backup weapon. Not a primary melee weapon. I’m glad to finally see Rick embracing this iconic characteristic. I guess it is excusable that he never carried a melee weapon before; because the fact that he’s wielding one now sort of gels perfectly with his current story arc and character development and evolution. He’s become more savage and resolute, more or a mercenary than he ever was and this is reflected in every aspect of him, right down to his new choice in weaponry.
Also, although I personally prefer Rick’s iconic hatchet; I guess for the show a machete is more fitting. Because, we’ve seen Rick wield a machete on the show during several memorable and particularly bloody moments.
We can derive 1 thing from the first photo – Rick is a bad ass muther-fucker !!!!!!!!!!!
The second photo – we can derive that Tyrese is still a big ass punk … he should stick to baby-sitting. I mean-take a lok at how he ‘handled’ Martin… someone was gonna go in and kill him, Ty said he took care of it – and Martin returns for a Bob-Burger … he is useless – Beth would kick his ass!
I happened to catch a few second season episodes last night since the show seems to have been syndicated to another network (I think it was on the WB) – and Rick has definitely devolved into a much more primitive man – like that wouldn’t happen to all of us in the apocalypse … and it is a much more appealing character than back then. He makes a statement about ‘killing anyone that threatens his family’ …talk…. but at the end of the group with Joe, he simply reacts and rips out dudes throat with his teeth … no talk – just reflex at this point.
This show rocks. I love to see it beat Sunday Night football in the ratings ….again!
Hahaha i didnt know they pulled out 2 on sunday night football, that rocks, but i totally agree about rick just cutting out the middleman, he used to give ALOT of fair warning before severely murdering someone, shit those termite/hunters were lucky for the heads up about the red handled machete, even though the geniuses didnt listen
