In a recent video interview with Larry King, Scott Gimple was asked by a fan on Twitter, “Will we see Morgan again?”
And surprisingly, Scott Gimple had a very firm, and exciting, answer: “I am so determined to make that happen by nook and crook. I can definitely say yes.”
So that makes us wonder… when you do think we’ll see Morgan again? In this upcoming season, or maybe in Season 6… or beyond? Vote below and let us know what you think!

so happy this is actually a forum thread! Lennie James is phenomenal and his portrayal of Morgan is the one most similar to his comic counterpart.
I think it will be when they are completely done with Terminus, however, it would be cool to have Morgan show up to help them out of that situation. Maybe Beth is with him.
I would be surprised if he arrives before the Terminus storyline is over as well . I don’t think the people at Terminus could trick him either he is super paranoid.

Rick was in a crazy situation not knowing what had been going on he probably would of become a walker.
Well it definitely has to happen before they leave Georgia, otherwise it wouldn’t make sense. Assuming the second half of the season is the group on the road to or in DC, it would have to occur within the first half of 5.

In the comic Rick, Abe, and Carl go back for him. However, in the comics they didn’t already go back for the weapons.

After the group escapes from Terminus they will have to start on their way to Washington with Abraham. Hopefully Rick will return home again to get the rest of the weapons in the police station and run into Morgan. However, the real question is…… WHERE IS BETH!?!?!?!?!?!?

You know in the season 4 finale when they were being led imto the trap, and they ran past containers similar to the one they ended up heing trapped in. Well someone shouted something like “help”. My prediction is that morgan and beth will be in there and when rick trys to escape they will let them out and they will fight theirway out of terminus together.
Hopefully Beth is at terminus, and when i say this I mean that I hope she is at Terminus and isn’t being served to people by Mary

I’m glad Morgan will return. I hate loose ends like that. he is a great character. we keep being teased with him off and on. I want to see him finally be part of the cast ongoing.

Lily Caul, the Gov’s girlfriend, had a kid, right? Lizzy and Mika didnt have a mother….are you starting to connect the dots? Perhaps Megan was their sister, or maybe half sister. Andm one more creepy thing would be my entrance into the show, via me being awesome and NOT a serenading walker, and my death scene, I’d like tell carl to give this necklace (Just a random one I have on) to My sisters, Lizzy and Mika…hehehe I would be an AWFUL scriptwriter…
That was Lilly Chalmers on the show, Lilly Caul in the reading material. Definitely two very different characters, not even a show blend! No kid for Caul. You got some interesting story ideas going tho!

This is kind of irrelevant but it was Lilly Chambler in the show. The Chalmers were in the novels, but Lilly was named April. Caul was from the comics, Chalmers the books, and Chambler the TV show 😛
I always took “Chambler” as someone’s typo that ran rampant.

I did some research & yeah, it’s “Chambler” instead of “Chalmers”. I think what they did was use the Chalmers from the novels with a nod to Lilly (using the name) Caul. I guess they changed the last name because they changed the first. No clue why they did either. Either way, 2 TOTALLY different characters!

I must say knowing that Morgan will join group makes me happy.I love his ingenuity.His camp he setup was awesome..barbwire,spikes,and stuff..he was by himself and he was ok…he will be an great add to the group. Hopefully he is there when Negan is introduced to TWD!!! It will be a hell storm when Negan shows up indeed.
I just dislike when announcements come out. I would have been totally blown away seeing Morgan just show up in an ep without my having a clue!! I am being robbed of that shock factor, but what can I do?… I love browsing online too much to become an offline hermit!

Yeah, but for me, I wasn’t following Low Winter Sun or the life & times of Lennie James, & don’t go searching for TWD spoilers, so it could have been a nice surprise. I hear talk of show cancellations, too, but it doesn’t automatically mean an actor/actress is guaranteed to be cast in another show.

What I was getting at is that I wish that it wasn’t a show announcement, not necessarily a site announcement. I expect for this site to have ALL the gritty details on everything TWD… just wish AMC would have kept Morgan’s return as a complete surprise & let us comic readers wonder. Makes sense?

I think it will happen somewhere towards the mid season finale or the second half premiere. With Low Winter Sun gone and Gimple’s determination, there’s no reason not to expect a Morgan return during season 5.
